A close friend of Kevin Tolyn, "Round Top" Chamberlain (his first name is never given) was given his first assignment on board the Tarawa and participated in its near-suicidal raid on Kilrah, and was one of only fourteen of the fourty-four pilots to survive the encounter. Folloing the raid, he was made CO of the Tarawa's Squadron of Broadswords. Following the armistice agreement, he participated in the secret ops mission locating the Hari fleet, and died making a torpedo run in his broadsword in the battle of Sirius following the renouncing of the armistice.
