Following a brief spell on the Tiger's Claw during the defection of Ralgha nar Hhallas and the Ras Nik'hra, Sparks as appointed Chief Tech onboard the Concordia, reponsible for keeping the various fighters, bombers, and shuttles in working order. She was also responsible for weapon loadouts and was often known to "accidentally" change the loadout in favor of the pilot's wishes. An easy going lady, she was always available to talk with, as long as you didn't mind getting your hands dirty. She was transferred to the Tarawa, the Escort Carrier in the novel End Run, shortly after the events in Secret Operations 2, where she helped keep the carrier together under intense fire. After the declaration of the False Peace, Sparks, then a Lieutenant, was recruited by Tolwyn to staff the Tarawa when entering Hari Space in search of the suspected enemy fleet.
Following this, she is assigned to the Destroyer Coventry in the Victory battle group, and saves Captain Jason Bondarevsky's life when Coventry is hit by a mine shortly before the Behemoth was destroyed, killing all the bridge crew but Bondarevsky. Sparks mounted the rescue operation that saved his life.
After the war, Sparks followed Bondarevsky into the Landreich fleet.
