Svetlana as Jason Bondarevsky's academy sweetheart back during the early days, but when she flunked a simple exam she ent off and joined the marines in a fit of pride. Later she as posted with the First Commando Unit (The "Cat-Killers") for the raid on Kilrah, where she again met with Jason and their relationship continued, at least until her marine LC crash landed on the shipyard on one of Kilrah's moons, and she self-destructed the LC taking a large portion of valuable Kilrathi resources with her.
