Some information from Tomes of Sivar

No good space epic would be complete without "The Big Bad Guy." In this case, we have Thrakhath. Although we don't get to see much of it in the games, we know that Thrakhath is the brains behind the Kilrathi military engine. Thrakhath's father was the Admiral responsible for the Sivar Dreadnaught project and, even being the son of the Emperor, was executed for his failure. Thrakhath learned much from his father's mistake and devoted his career to strategic battles. He was the mastermind behind the destruction of the 6th Battle Fleet and the orchestrator of the Earth offensive. He was known to have a very short temper, even for a phsyco predator being, and was known to order others to slit their own throats for petty things such as unintentionally insulting him.

One of the more illustrious Kilrathi figures, Prince Thrakhath was known as the best pilot in the Kilrathi space force as well as the heir to the throne. Firstborn of Kalralahr Gilkarg, Thrakhath was the one who was responsible for the failed< Sivar-Eshrad ceremony on Firekka. The stealth fighters under his personal command dispatched a Terran raiding force as it attempted to attack K'tithrak Mang. However, he was unable to dispel the second assault on the base, when the TCS Concordia pilots attacked and destroyed the base. This caused civil unrest in many Kilrathi, and led to an assasination attempt by Khasra nar Kiranka. Other great failures of his include the assault on Vukar Tag, in which six carriers of his family's personal fleet were destroyed by a surprise attack by the Terran fleet, the raid on Kilrah in which six more carriers as well as their construction yards were destroyed by the TCS Tarawa, and the Battle of Earth, in which he failed to conquer the Confederation despite every advantage. These failures almost triggered an open civil war, and Thrakhath was forced to redeem himself by using bio-weapons to end the war quickly. When he learned of the Behemoth, he activated his sleeper agent, Ralgha nar Hhallas, who gave him information which led to the Behemoth's destruction. He was shot down by Colonel Christopher Blair shortly before the destruction of Kilrah.

His only flaws are typical Kilrathi ones. He is obsessed with personal combat and wreaking havoc upon poor 'ol Bluehair. His skills in the cockpit are supposed to be exceptional, but I've always found him to be too dependent on his craft's abilities. Once you figure out his pattern, he's a cinch.
