An old spacedog, Wilford commanded the Border Worlds fleet after its secession from the Confederation. Wilford is a direct man, cutting to the chase with little or no extraneous information. He's also smart enough to leave the local decisions up to us grunts on the front line, a surprising trait in a flag officer. Despite his tendency to punctuate his speeches with superlatives, I like this man a lot.
He returns as the captain of the TCS Midway in WCP.
